Eberron is a Dungeons and Dragons world that’s been used for many a campaign setting. One of its most prominent features is its inclusion of the warforged – humanoid metal constructs that were built by House Cannith and used to serve in Eberron’s geatest war, known as ‘The Last War’.
Below you’ll find all the STLs I’ve uncovered in searching for models to put in front of my own players in our Eberron campaign. While I have linked to several artists’ work, I couldn’t possibly cover every miniature the artist has that could work in Eberron. I recommend you visit the artist’s store page for any of the STL designs you think you’ll like – there’s probably a lot more than what I’ve listed here.
Quick Note:
I’ve linked a few bundles that cost a pretty penny. If you go to the artist’s store, you should be able to find individual STLs from the bundles that you can purchase separately for less.
Flesh of Gods – Flesh & Steel
I was beyond excited for the release of Flesh of God’s spin on an Eberron-inspired world and the warforged. It didn’t disappoint. The set includes titans, warforged for player character options and Iron Defenders. It also includes artificers. You can grab the STL files from this set separately or in a bundle, and if you sign up for their Tribes you’ll get a discount for any previously released sets. Flesh of Gods are one of my favourite artists – well supported, well-designed for easy printing and pulling off supports, and huge talent. I’ve linked MyMiniFactory (which I like because it stores your STL files permanently on your account) but they are on Patreon too.
Dark Realms – Eberron-Inspired
Dark Realms typically creates incredible terrain for FDM printers. They have however shown interest in Eberron and even created a free Lightning Rail STL (linked above). They’ve also created models inspired by the Lord of Blades, Iron Defenders and other warforged. Take a look on their MyMiniFactory for most of the above. There are a few models I received by signing up to their Patreon a good while ago and cannot find online any longer – so consider sending Dark Realms a message if you’re after a specific model.
Lord of Blades STL Proxies
There are not as many options as you’d expect, but the ones I think work best are linked above (depending on how cartoonish or seriously you’d like to take the Lord of Blades).
Warforged STL Proxies
Given player and enemy DnD characters can both be warforged, it pays to have a bank ready to go.
Warforged Titan STL Proxies
There’s a lot of creative licence in Eberron. If your world includes titans, there are some great options to depict them.
Eberron Iron Defender STL Proxies
Eberron’s warforged equivalent of good bois, the Iron Defenders, will only really give any trouble to lower level players, but they are a staple and a classic of the Eberron world.
Drone, Droid & Robot STL Proxies
I like to use droids as minion-type enemies to supplement bigger bad guys. They may act like familiars for bad guys, distract players or detonate on death. You could also use them as NPCs (friendly or hostile), companions, familiars for artificers or enemies, reflavoured scrying eyes and more.
Airship STLs
I highly reommend an FDM for some of the bigger airships. They are just far too huge for resin in most cases.
